Another shot of "Bambi"....this one is not afraid of a thing from what we can tell. She even gets close to the dog (just out of his reach with the tether)...though we have not been lucky enough to get a snapshot of that yet.
Haven't been playing much on the computer the last few weeks as real life got in the way of things. My parents were supposed to come and visit us in September; but mom got sick and she just has not been able to shake it. Finally got her to go to the doctor, and are now waiting for all the test results to come back. The first doctor that she saw (in the ER) said it was just her asthma and allergies, gave her a breathing treatment and told her to follow-up with her regular doctor. Since then she has seen her dr, been told that he wants to do some tests as she has some of the symptoms for congestive heart failure. So things have been tense, and stressful around here to say the least. Hoping that all the tests come back soon and that all is okay with her. Any prayers that you can spare are greatly appreciated and welcomed.
Will be posting some new layouts this weekend, hubby has declared that I am to take the weekend off and relax. So no cleaning, no cooking....and lots of time on my hands. Am also going to be working on a new blog layout, using some of Lava DownUnder Scraps' kits.... am thinking a fall theme is the way to go for a bit, and they do have such lovely fall colors in some of their kits.
Welp, enough of my chit chat...off to get some more layouts done up! Hope that you all have a great and wonderful weekend. Big Hugs, Milisa
My husband and I nicknamed these 2 Bambi and Thumper. Bambi is the one facing us and Thumper has his back to us for this picture....watching these 2 is such fun, and we enjoy seeing their antics each day as they play, or just lay around in the yard.

Over the weekend, my husband and I went into NYC. Just walking around, we found that we had ended up by Ground Zero. The memories of Sept. 11th came rushing back, and the atmosphere was still so solemn. Many people sitting on steps across the way just gazing and thinking. One man, in his way, trying to have people remember that day and all that was lost was showing photos. I heard one lady tell him "I don't need your photos to remember what I lost." She said this with tears in her eyes, my husband went up to see if the man was bothering her and to see if she needed assistance in getting him to leave her alone. She smiled and told us "No thank you, I am fine, just remembering." She then thanked my husband for his help, and told him she could tell he was in the service and asked that he pass the word to his comrades in arms that she thanked them for their service and for remembering. She then said, as she was moving away, "In remembering, we honor those we lost." We weren't able to get her name, but her statement, and the solemn way she said it, stuck in my mind. So this layout is for those that were lost (though I can not see any layout doing there memory justice).
I too thank all those that serve and have served. I am proud of each and every serviceman and woman for the bravery that they show each and everyday.

Haven't posted in awhile as I have been so busy trying to get a surprise party organized, a birthday present finished, and the card made. Luckily all has been completed so have lots of time to play now. Will be back tomorrow with lots more layouts using the wonderful works from Lava DownUnder Scraps... Big Hugs, Milisa
Been busy around here getting ready for my girlfriends birthday...finally got her present finished (made her an afghan). I just love to make homemade cards, so when I saw this kit; thought wow...this would make a nice card...so finished that up today as well...
I needed a new desktop and decided to try working with a template as well....so made a desktop calendar for this month, using pictures from our garden and from the Ken Lockwood Gorge..
Tale of the Sea Horse....pictures of some sea horses that we took on our excursion to the beach this year. There was a fabulous aqarium on the board walk and these gorgeous sea horses....
If you like playing around in PSP, and enjoy doing tutorials...you should check out Pash and Polu's tutorial site....they have some really gorgeous tutorials there....
Growing up Dad and Mom always said they could not live our life for us kids; but one of their greatest wishes was that we watched them and learned from their mistakes...as dad says "If you don't learn from history, it can repeat itself." I have watched them through the years and I could not ask for better role models.....
Our wedding day...picture taken at the Heidelberg Castle in Germany....oh what a great day that was....(coulda done without all the tourists trying to touch us for good luck though)...lol
A pic that was taken of a plant in our garden at our new house...don't know what it is yet, but it is one of the few that I haven't killed off...lol (a green thumb for outside plants, I do not have)...lmol
I love to play in psp and work with digital scrap kits. I am a proud CT member for Lava Down Under Scraps.
